Tarc and Whisper

Whisper was my first collie. As I’d said previously Tarc was a difficult dog to train, and after I’d struggled a bit it was suggested I get a collie, WHAT ? I shrieked, a collie ? I’m not having a *%”#@ mongrel, calm down said my friend, they’re doing very well in obedience and let’s face it you’re getting a bit old for these great German Shepherds I was only 34 ! Anyhow I was persuaded and after seeing one advertised in the 'Farmer’s Weekly',  trotted off. She was 11 weeks old a typical farm collie  though used to cows not sheep. I bought her for about  £20. She was quite a madam and with a strong will,  she ruled the roost and Tarc and Rumpole gave way to her even though she was quite a small dog,
I started to train her and did reasonably well, though she would try and nip if you pushed her too hard. LOL She had two fits at 15 and aged a bit after that, though lived till she was almost 18. Even at that great age, the other dogs gave way to her when she walked in the room, though her eyesight and hearing were going. She was a dear little girl. Little wissy-wog A dear old lady A lovely memory

  1. Whisper is gorgeous! My type again, and apparently, if you look closely at the picture, she is Tarc's type, too! HAHAHAHAHAHA
