Numa's page

Here is Numa’s page, The one I will find the hardest to write.

Happier times

Numa was our second GSD and was wholly mine, She was born 28th February 1967 , a beautiful black and tan and had the sweetest nature.of any dog I knew. She was KC registered as Numa-san of Vega. I don’t have many photos of her as in her early life I couldn’t afford the cost of cameras and developing and had to rely on friends for pictures. The ones I do have are all the more precious.
Due to circumstances  I had to part with her she was 5 years old, I won’t go into details as it is just too painful, at at the time I could see no way out of it Had I the time over again I would never have done it, and even now 37 years on I can still get a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes when I think of her, God what an awful thing to have had to do, I hate myself and the b*****d that forced it on me. may he rot in hell, The older I get the more I feel shame and deep regret for this. I have posted the few pictures I have of her in her album. Forgive me my sweet lovely girl and friend to Kerry. I'm sure you got a good home as I don’t think that anyone who saw you could have resisted you, I hope you lived a full and happy life, I’m just so sorry I wasn't with you to share it.

  1. Oh, Arlene, this tore at my heartstrings. What a sad, sad story, and I know it still gets to you and you still wonder; but Arlene, you also know that she had the best 5 yrs of her life with YOU and because all your dogs were so loved, that made them just as loveable, therefore the odds that she was placed into a very, very loving home were definitely in her favor. Keep that thought tucked into your heart and let it help.

Arlene, it's been months since you posted on your regular Ruby and Tango blog and my note to you on that was never shown and I know you would post it normally. That means I'm worried about you --- are you all right? Have you been ill? Is there anyone that can post for you to let us know? You are so dear and I keep coming back to check.
Sending you a big hug, Arlene Xoxoxo
